Nevermind Me

I do not ask for anything
No not one
I am happy left alone..
Neither wind
Nor rain can heal me
Neither fire nor ice can soothe me
My thirst cannot be quenched
Because O my!
 its not my body
That is thirsty or hungry
It is an urge
Since millenia
To seek You
And yet not be able to find you
Like the blind king of yore
Who lived in an Era no more
I regret to have ignored
Your Kindness
Or your words of wisdoms
I have never ever paid
Neither attention nor followed
Yet no regrets, so long
As you still care to save me from all..
It is OK, let the king hold his throne
With all his might, yet he is all
Thrown out to fall and perish..
Unless he leaves it and holds You
There is no rescue..

The Deep Forest And Wide Sea

I was going to worry
If I am ever good enough for you
I am just an old song
Sung too many times
My odds are even worse than
Ever being worth a few dimes
Way back so many years ago
I wasn’t  that little a girl
Missed many opportunities
But then the spirit, I assume
Was alive all along, counting
One, two, three and Gong
Dinner is served,  y’all
Better hurry and come along
Night and day someone not lost yet
 Is just figuring out as
They go on with their song
If they are more like the cowboy’s way
Keeping up with herds and hay
Or is there a way out of
This wild saddling, cinching
That one of those square knots
You go into the rabbit holes,
Wait for a day that changes
With warmth and colors,
But alas the mountains
Casting such shadows, big old
Trees with darkness as it falls
Under the stars and the rising storms..
Freezing all around
Bone chilling bitter colds
Biting into your elbows
With the cat in the cradle
Horse in the saddle
Dogs whining as the
Mountain lions dining
Blue Jays rarely shining
And the azule Herons
Of southern Texas
Growing in multitude
With the ducks mating
Breeding all around
The river beds and yards
Mocking birds and sparrows
Hopping to find spiders and moths
Seeds from grasslands
Spreading in the air,
Feeding more fawna fair
And lovely hares and rabbits
Juggling through the willows
Backyards and the dark alleys
Why on earth would it bother me
When nature takes care day in and out
My good old friend, a brown lizard
Silently crawling and mimicking
Over the walls and pillars,
In the tiny crevices of the hallways
And chipmunks strolling over
The walkways and the lanes
Sunsets bringing up dark chills
With sunrise as the day breaks from
Wintry dusk to pale apricot Noons
Sun speeding to the zenith
Life goes by yet I cannot
Unfold you the years of life
Over Southern Texan Roads
Or Rodeos from the Dixie Chick’s
To Tejano star Salina Perez,
Stealing hearts and winning spirits, of
Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks or Shania Twain
Good old spritz, Burgundy or Champaign
You can find the scorching summers and
Freezing winters, with snow thickets over
Plains and hilly terrains or mountains
Tall live Oaks, bending over hallows
Bringing home harrowing details
Of ghosts of Halloween nights
Did I miss the delicacies and warm
Southern hosts and fun and laughter
And not to forget, saints and poets
Of world renowned exaltation of
Vishishta Adwaitam and tribhuwana
Mohana ragam of Sri Krishna Sharanam mama
Aum Namo Bhagavathe Vaasudevaaya namah||
