Blessings!

Today I saw your pictures
Full of cheer and happiness
It gives me pleasure to know
That you are well taken care
A lovely lady as your partner
Giving your daughter away
To the handsome groom
That she adores, may they
Live happily together forever
Such a divine couple, that
Only gods could create
But did I see your eyes
Watering as you farewell
Your bosom's loving girl
Dancing with you like
Nymph over the lake
Eyes full of sweet dreams
Holding her beloved's hand,
She bids you all farewell
On her way to her life's song
Only to visit you again
With an awesome little one
Bringing their love to cherish

Waves Weaving the Winds

Waves Weaving the Winds
In the wind every time I see, I find
The dust particles that shine in the Sun's rays
Fallen leaves dried out and rolling on the dirt
Twigs that fell off as the wind rustled

I see small twigs sprouting and dancing to the waves of wind
I see little plants breathing through their small leaves
And growing to be huge trees that shelter the young birds
I see homes standing and sometimes falling, all through my life

I see birds flying and crying and cooing and wooing
I see pyramids, palaces, pillars and gates, all standing tall
Along with farms and gardens and huts and streets
Places of worship, and unworthy, everywhere people dwell

I see little children with nothing on, play and cry for a morsel of food
I see young women escorted and deceived or raped and left to die
I see people starting lives, ending if it nears, yet to see some good
that leads hope; death is just a door for one to enter another life

Stars of Hope

Sometimes I feel I have lived this life
Eons ago in a different state
Sometimes alone I brood on those
Days that never should have been or could

I remember the darkness the stars are surrounded by
Each night sparkling the heavens and the sky
It makes me feel happy that darkness is dispersed
Each time a star shines and sparkles unperturbed

God give me strength to overcome the hard days
And see the brilliant stars that these nights hide
May I be able to spark some light into those minds
Despite lurking in dark passages until one realizes

Haiku chain

Nature it appears
Follows four seasons,
Like our life

Spring is today,
Out off the Fall,
I travel along

With you and You
And all of you together,
Coloring flowers

I made a poem
Of Haiku for you
Hope you like it!

***.  ***.  ***

Mother with kids
Protecting her kith and kin,
Nature you are kind!

Teacher of life
She gives lessons wise
To know right and bright

When you don't follow
Are you in big trouble now?
Rise up, move to light

Tonight is the end
Of all that was wronged
Now you are born again

Never be in vain,
You are the smartest one
Rise up and shine!

Haikus
Wealth does not grow
On computers, nor on trees
 Only from thoughts

Wealth is not
Counted in pennies, cents,
Just giving love

Voices of old
Talk to you when all alone,
They nurture all

Rustling leaves,
Ruffling of birds' feathers
Sun rays, bring days

Mother's heart
Keeps children's memories,
They are their's

If a child is hurt
Mother knows it in heart,
She perceives

Nature and God
Are alike, as they both
Shower us love

I am glad to
Tell you God is great!
Smell his love!

Flowers are His.
Way to show all His love,
They brighten!

I am not gone ever!
I only live through your thoughts!
In all things  you see.

Elements of love
Make life worth your while
Forgive all errors

May be we will meet!
If not this life, may be next!
Like thoughts and ink.

When you see the Sun
Tomorrow is another day!
Starting a new life!

Ravi Shankar

“We offer this Ode to Ravi Shankar with

our hearts silenced as their Sitar will not

be played by them any more, leaving

a void in our souls..”

The joy, beauty, full of light..

Your music was only divinity

Atma spoke as the strings played

The light you gave to the world of Sitar,

Is there anyone ever to compare

You’ve shown the world that all hearts are one

With strings from the East

Merging with drums from the West

Flowing in the rhapsody of music

Were songs played and histories made

Ravi is your name, so very dwight

Filling the world with music like Shankar

Sun from the eastern horizon

Thrilling the hearts of everyone

Has traveled to the West to leave

Us with heaviness in heart

A student always although in nineties

We will remember you until eternity

With love to you, O Ravi Shankar!

you are the music on the strings of Sitar!

Like a star, you are, shining in every heart
