A Simple Story Of Mighty SriRam (with thanks to all, including artist ji)

There was a kind generous King
Who ruled the earth eons ago.
He went to the forest on exile
With his wife for 14 years also
Followed by his younger brother
To help him survive the woods
10 and three winters in braving
The weather and demons alike
SRI Ram left ayodhya with his mate
One day in the forest a lusty demoness
Came up to see Sriram and breach his trust
Forest dwelling Mighty Ram, told her to seek
His brother Lakshman  equally steadfast
Shoorpanakha, with sharp claws
Saw Sita and sought to eat so she can feast
The moment she tried to catch Sita,
Lakshman took his mighty sword
Deformed ShoorpNakha off of her nose and ears
Ram had to kill her warrior brothers, single handed:
About 14000 of those equally bad ones
As their sister Shoorpanakha,
Have pounced on Rama to attack all at once;
Just so he can keep the people safe,
Rama killed them all in an hour.
Weeping Shoorpanakha then left to seek
Help from the 10 headed demon Ravan
Ravana deceptively kidnapped Sita
So as to seek revenge of his sister’s plight

No one knew how nor who took away Sita
Until the old eagle Jatayu told to get help from south,
Just before he died of fighting the mighty Rakshas.
Ram found help from the forest animals, sages,
monkeys and apes, Squirrels and demons, bears and all
All those who needed to bring change
From the 10 headed demon's cruel rules
Returned home victorious with Sita ji
And all friends along with the leading Lakshmana ji
Only because of friends, and helpers and their valor;
Prayers from the sages and blessings from Gods and gurus
Did they all return Ayodhya, safe, then as now.
Makes everyone happy and reach their goals. Shubham.

Live Life In All It's Colors

I expect you to be reading my lines
If I am very much dazed and believe
Strange times and strange things  co-exist
Much as a flavor and aroma ingrained
In a toffee, while you can enjoy and relish it
Where does it all vanish, like mist after dawn?
I enjoyed the many sunshine and moonlights
But where have they all gone with no trace?
Each morning the sun lights the skies
Until dusk you bask in the brightness and warmth
Why one foregoes it once the night sets in?
Festivals of yore, prayers and dances
While decked with halls of dancing damsels
With no restraint swirling around the mother Goddess of life
The golden dupatta of florets and creepers
Intertwining the gorgeous silks that young ladies adorn in
With flowing pleets of golden flowers of rich golden yarn
Children playing around happily, with worries unknown
Pagan rituals and festivals marking the lives and styles
Where have they vanished in the thin air
Before you can realize it is a changed world all through
May be one day, somewhere, we see what was and is..
Till that time hold your thoughts and spirits high
And live, exist, as I need to see the changing epochs
Behold so you can survive and relish the sweet things
That life offers always and forever blessing you…

Go Find That Dream

Wake up my folks
Do wake up!
It ain’t just singing
Songs of hippy hop
It is not just eating
Good old bim bim bop
Wake up and shake your shins
Wake up and keep up your chins
Wake up it is not a day
To count those bucks outta Lottos
Yeah, Ozymandias said so too
Heck, even a Wreck carries a Motto,
Don’t let those dreams go waste
Rise up and stay top on the shank
Remember the songs that sank
Into the hearts of melodies
To sprout from the souls of wonder
You can do what you can
To reach the skies and touch the stars
No wonder, You are damn right
To take a step and shake a bum
If not just trust me, you can hum
And find your jump start
Be the winner of your dreams!
