Then, one day
The boy who visited
As a student going
To college, standing
Amid clouds asunder
No sooner did they
Travel under pressure
And depression over
The gulf surrounding
On the Eastern skies
A smell of thunder
Like burnt metal
Corroding through the skin
The young student was like a sure stuck target
To the gods of yonder
You may wonder,
Was that zeus with a bolt
Of lightening and thunder
Or was it for Lord Indra
That varun is pouring
And soaking them wet
One of them struck by thunderbolt and rushed to ER
Parents and sisters visited
To help out, a burnt wreck of a human
To nurse and nurture
Back to his self wondrous,
Cannot ponder why in the heavens
This student was under the
Rigors of the lightening
Thankfully though
The University Hospital
Doctors and nurses,
Took him under the care
Of knives and prayer
As the brother fought for life
Unlike many and luckier than who couldn't make
