Ballad Of A Southern Belle

It is no narration

Nor is a story about a Woman murdered, although

When you step into

Scene one, as you know,

Is a Woman found dead;

Husband calling police

Moving on to a quick swing

Here comes,

Scene two

Husband's girl friend advises to throw the body away in forest

With not a chance for a second thought

It leads to Scene three

Inspector Chuck investigates crime scene, what is it that he would find in  

Scene four

I wonder..

Body is not there in the chaos that came while letting the inspector and team in, body of woman not there

Just vanished as if into thin air

Scene Five

Is danger lurking in a dark corner

Team searches neighborhood and surroundings, horse back

As if in the house of never still there was something in

Scene six

Dawn leads to light

Revealing white butterflies as if light is streaming from an endless source from heavens

There is no evidence of any foul play, but it may mean the foul play cannot be detected, not that it didn’t  happen.

I am not a poem, the words started screaming,

Scramming helter skelter,

And running hither and thither

For words are human thoughts,

Exteriorly appearing as

They disappear into

Scene seven with such vigor,

Revealing the dark side of

Flash back never before

Of the back side drama…

Girl friend beautiful, rich, young, and advanced in a medical or sports career, not a physician nor a technologist.

Seduces the husband because someone paid her to put drift in the family.

Wife notices all the activity through the monitor in her living room

The electrician wipes away the “silicone gel” from the husband’s  private files

Wife notes down all the details

She comes out of her room and all the other men act weird.

Wife records the expressions

She knows it is a work of jealousy and plot to destroy their family structure.

One of them is more vested

He loves nothing more than the doom of the guys

Who move on with their lives, as though they cannot see him or his power,

That my dear, he thinks

Is a grave mistake

Wine pours like water

Songs getting louder, as the youngsters are waving hands and dancing along with their mates and their hats

Leading to no less than

Scene eight, hold on tight, to your guts

The family doctor nonchalantly, keeps prescribing narcotics to the woman.

Earlier the woman though tried to hurt herself, by overdosing as a reaction to unsolicited attention at work who need have no affair with her.

He keeps making foul play with his overwhelming interest, centered only to himself

But one is not used to live in world such as this, to begin with through

Scene nine

Court scene, about to convict husband.

Woman enters and surprises everyone

How doctor was helping the villain, how girl friend was a vamp

How the psychologist was actually supporting her to stay strong and tell the authorities, on who were helping the villain.

Indeed it was divine revelation that she knows that she has to take care of her family and herself and she still chooses to be with family and support them.

What just happened,

Wonders the husband

That almost got him unto the gallows,

Good grief my love, my beloved

Grieving and thanking and hugging and kissing

Until a different day on a calendar year..

So she grows strong, keeps supporting, knowing

What is it that runs life..

I wonder too..
